These timeless shoes are cool, comfy, and so easy to wear with all different kinds of looks. Every single pair of espadrille loafers made at Bags of Love are completely unique. Your photos and designs cover the entire body of the shoe, creating footwear made especially for you. You can personalised almost every part of your new shoes, including the inner sole. Opt for a natural jute lining to complement the base of your shoes, or design your very own fabric lining. You can even select from two colour options for the binding, eyelet and tape. The breathable cotton lining will keep your feet feeling fresh, while the durable canvas body will keep them looking like new for years to come.

Care instructions

Surface wipe only. Clean gently by hand with mild soapy damp cloth.

Care: We do not recommend putting your wedge espadrilles in the washing machine as the weave can unravel during the spin cycle. Clean by hand only. If your shoes get muddy, we suggest leaving them to dry first before trying to remove it. Please use a damp soapy cloth to spot clean and leave to dry. If you are opting for the printed fabric lining, please be aware that the print will fade slightly over time due to abrasion.

Fabric in your Espadrille Loafers

To create your loafers, we use two fabrics: linen look canvas for the exterior and natural cotton for the interior. The canvas is a man-made material that has the beautiful natural look of linen, complete with slub weaves. It is a durable and hard-wearing textile that will help preserve the life of your espadrille loafers. Natural cotton is used to create the shoe interior. This is a breathable and moisture-wicking fabric that will keep your feet feeling cool and fresh.

How we make it

Handmade espadrille loafers

Once you have uploaded your photos into our design interface, our team of technicians carefully check them before printing them directly onto the fabric. The printed fabric is then cut to size and your choice of trim colour is added, as is your choice of Porcine leather, printed fabric, or natural jute sole. Finally, the fabric is bonded onto the jute and rubber base, and your espadrilles are complete.

Photo Inspiration

Shoes can say a lot about your personal style and your personality. Make sure that your new espadrilles reflect that. As they are suitable for both men and women, why not create a cute matching pair for you and your other half? Print your face on their shoes and their face on yours. You could even print one face per shoe, so when they are worn you see the complete couple. This would make such a memorable and heartfelt anniversary gift. Design a pair of espadrilles for your wedding party. The bridesmaids and groomsmen can all be given a personalised pair of shoes as a unique way to say "thank you." Imagine how great the wedding photos will look when everyone wears their shoes together.

Handy Tip: The body of your shoe is made from one piece of fabric. This gives you a relatively large surface area to print on. If you are printing just one photo, use our design interface to ensure the most important details are on the front - and hence the largest - part of the shoe. Please also keep in mind the stitching of your shoe. Keep key features as centred as possible and away from the edge, so they do not get incorporated into the stitching.
