The Champagne Lady Iris was introduced in 1992. Back in the autumn of 2012 I took a bulb or two as a gift after donating blood, and placed the bulbs in the soil on the southeast corner of our home. The irises have spread, and now we enjoy many of the bronze, brown, and cream blossoms in the first two weeks of May. That is a rainy period of the year, so I often go out after a rain shower to admire the wet blossoms. This tea dress brings together the colors of our tall bearded iris after rain.
