Towel with Sage Star on Razor Clam Field

This towel features a sage nine-pointed star with light green color on a field of pastel blue and purple stripes. The background pattern is the result of digital manipulation of a photograph of the interior of a shell from a razor clam we found on a beach in Washington State, and the star is fashioned from a photograph of a sage bush near Juntara Hot Springs in eastern Oregon. The towel has a Pacific Northwest theme, and mild colors without too much contrast. The arid interior and the wet coast are brought together in this design.
