This bathrobe uses a pattern that emerged from a photograph of some hyacinths, probably Purple Sensation or Woodstock varieties. The hyacinth is the flower of Apollo, a symbol of peace, wisdom, commitment, and beauty. The rich boysenberry purple and mulberry purple of this pattern is darker than most of the floral patterns available here. The back has a slightly different pattern using some eight-pointed stars, and there is also a nine-pointed star in the upper center of the back.
